Quang Nam builds plan to organize Lifelong Learning Response Week

The Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Education and Training to develop a plan that closely follows Official Dispatch No. 5201, dated September 9, 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training on organizing the Lifelong Learning Response Week in 2024.

Accordingly, the response week with the theme "Developing reading culture to promote lifelong learning" takes place from October 1-7, with the opening ceremony held on October 1.

During the response week, there will be a number of activities such as: Promoting and innovating information and propaganda activities on the importance and role of developing a reading culture to promote lifelong learning; hanging banners and slogans at educational institutions, agencies and public places...

Organize book fairs to introduce new books, create a space for exchange between authors and readers; organize writing, drawing, and storytelling contests based on books and newspapers; organize seminars to share experiences on renovating school libraries and developing reading culture in educational institutions and communities; organize events, exchange activities, competitions, seminars, etc.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires that activities must be organized in an appropriate and effective manner, focusing on remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas, in order to create a widespread response from society, bringing the theme "Developing a reading culture to promote lifelong learning" into life in a practical way.
