Implementing Plan No. 01-KH/BCĐTW dated March 21, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on science , technology, innovation and digital transformation development, the Standing Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee issued Plan 368-KH/TU dated May 24, 2025 on implementing the "Digital Literacy" Movement across the province, marking a strong step forward in the popularization of digital skills and building a digital society in the locality.
The “Digital Literacy for All” movement is identified as a key task with the goal of popularizing basic knowledge about digital transformation and digital skills for all classes of people, especially vulnerable groups such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and people in remote areas. The main spirit is “all people, all inclusive, no one is left behind”.
Not only focusing on propaganda, the plan also requires the implementation of a series of practical models such as: "Digital Family", "Each Citizen - A Digital Identity", "Digital Market - Digital Rural Area", and a network of "Digital Ambassadors" with the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door, guiding every person".
According to the plan, by the end of 2025, Quang Ngai province strives to have 80% of adults with basic digital skills; more than 500,000 people confirmed to have met digital skills standards on the VneID platform; 100% of high school and university students equipped with learning skills and safe interaction in the digital environment....
By 2026, these targets will be raised to a comprehensive level: 100% of adults, civil servants, students at all levels... will master digital knowledge, skills and essential online platforms.
The movement will mobilize the synchronous participation of the entire political system from the province to the grassroots. Departments and branches will coordinate to implement specific action programs.
The Department of Science and Technology presided over the Movement Launch Ceremony; the Department of Education and Training promoted the integration of digital skills into the curriculum. Community digital technology groups, telecommunications businesses, unions, student volunteers, etc. were all mobilized to participate.
In particular, the plan also emphasizes ensuring data security and network security throughout the implementation process.
