Quang Tri: Rescued 6 people trapped for many days in flood

Quang Tri authorities overcame the flood and brought 6 people isolated for two days in the cajuput forest of Hieu Giang commune out of the danger zone.

On the evening of October 29, Hieu Giang Commune Police (Cam Lo District, Quang Tri Province) coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police, to successfully rescue 6 people trapped in the forest due to rising floodwaters.

According to initial information, at around 3:45 p.m. the same day, the authorities received a report that 6 people had been isolated for several days in the Melaleuca forest area of ​​Hieu Giang commune. This group of people had run out of food and water.

Immediately after, 2 specialized vehicles, 1 canoe and dozens of officers and soldiers were urgently mobilized to the scene. After many hours of struggling with the strong current, the rescue team was able to bring all 6 people out safely.
