Quang Tri: Six people rescued after being trapped for days in floods.

Authorities in Quang Tri province braved the floods to rescue six people who had been isolated for two days in the melaleuca forest of Hieu Giang commune, bringing them out of danger.

On the evening of October 29th, the police of Hieu Giang commune (Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province), in coordination with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Tri province, successfully rescued six people who were trapped in the forest due to rising floodwaters.

According to initial information, at approximately 3:45 PM on the same day, authorities received a report that six people had been isolated for several days in the melaleuca forest area of ​​Hieu Giang commune. The group had run out of food and water.

Immediately afterwards, two specialized vehicles, one speedboat, and dozens of officers and soldiers were urgently mobilized to the scene. After many hours of struggling with the strong currents, the rescue team successfully brought all six people to safety.
