At the working program, the members of the Supervisory Delegation highly appreciated the results achieved by Thai Nguyen province in socio -economic development as well as in developing and using human resources to meet development requirements; the province's overview report provided valuable and meaningful information to the Delegation. The members also discussed and requested the province to provide more information on a number of issues such as: Coordination between the state - schools - enterprises in human resource training; studies on FDI enterprises' assessment of local human resource quality, especially foreign language skills; policies to attract and retain talents; assessment of the synchronization and completeness of the policy system on attracting, training and using high-quality human resources; forecasting challenges in the coming time; the province's policy on developing a system of schools to train ethnic minority human resources; policies on developing private education...

Thai Nguyen province has a team of intellectuals in the field of science and technology about 5 times higher than the average of other countries, maintained for many years at 52 people/10,000 people. The team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in agencies, units, and localities with doctoral, master's and university degrees reaches over 70%. With many efforts, Thai Nguyen has now achieved a ratio of 17 doctors/10,000 people, higher than the national average of 11.5 doctors/10,000 people.
