Pho Yen City: Supporting craft villages to develop production

In Pho Yen City, there are currently 32 craft villages and traditional craft villages (mainly tea, fine art, rattan and bamboo) recognized by the province, with over 3,500 households participating in production and business. Currently, craft villages are creating jobs for more than 7,800 rural workers (an increase of more than 300 workers compared to the end of 2024), with an average income of over 6 million VND/person/month (an increase of nearly 1 million VND compared to the end of 2024).

Previously, from the province's Industrial Promotion Fund, Pho Yen City supported the transfer of modern machinery and equipment to 8 wooden furniture manufacturing establishments in Gia Trung Carpentry Village (Tien Phong Ward) and Cam Tra Fine Arts Wooden Furniture Village (Trung Thanh Ward), with a budget of more than 2 billion VND; supported automatic tea packaging machines, electric and gas tea roasting machines for people, businesses, and cooperatives in the craft village, with a budget of more than 1.5 billion VND...
