Training in knowledge and skills of disaster prevention, search and rescue

On the afternoon of May 22, the People's Committee of Song Cong City coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue to organize a training conference on natural disaster prevention and control for over 100 people. This is the core force, directly participating in responding to and handling natural disaster situations at the grassroots level.

At the conference, students learned about 5 topics: Some documents related to natural disaster prevention; overview of natural disasters in Vietnam; disaster prevention shock force at commune level; introduction to how to recognize and skills to prevent some types of natural disasters; instructions on updating natural disaster reports on the irrigation digital data system.

Along with organizing training on disaster prevention, control and search and rescue (PCTT&TKCN) for core forces directly involved in responding to and handling natural disaster situations occurring at the grassroots level, Song Cong City has developed scenarios and PCTT&TKCN plans; strengthened PCTT&TKCN forces; warned of locations prone to landslides and flooding when floods occur... ready to respond to all natural disaster situations.
