A B1, B2 driving practice car with no more than 5 students is one of the new contents stipulated in Circular 05/2024/TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport dated March 31, 2024 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circulars related to the field of road transport, road transport support services, vehicles and drivers, effective from June 1, 2024.
The driving training facility shall base on the contents including: the program volume and training time allocation as prescribed above, review time, final exam and holidays; to build the total training time in the driving training program to ensure achieving the goal: B1 level of regular training program and for B2 level, C level is elementary level.
Number of students specified on a driving practice car: class B1, B2 no more than 5 students and class C no more than 8 students.
In addition, Circular 05/2024/TT-BGTVT provides new regulations on testing and granting of primary vocational certificates and driver training certificates for classes B1, B2, and C.
The circular clearly states that the test will be conducted at the end of the theoretical subject according to the theoretical examination question set (the content of the question set includes the subjects: Road traffic law; structure and common repair; transportation operations; ethics, traffic culture, prevention of harmful effects of alcohol and beer and fire prevention, rescue and first aid when participating in traffic) and simulate traffic situations.
Test at the end of the practical driving course with continuous tests, reverse driving and driving on the road. Consider granting a primary vocational certificate or training certificate to learners who meet the requirements as prescribed above.
