Promoting the tradition of "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Mong commune launched a donation movement, calling on agencies, units, enterprises; socio- political organizations; philanthropists; cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and all people in the area to join hands towards the people of the Central region and the Central Highlands.
After its launch, the movement quickly spread widely, receiving positive response and responsible support from all walks of life.
Goods and funds were directly transported by the commune's working group to Tuy An Tay commune.
After a period of mobilization, Quy Mong commune received more than 400 million VND in support, including 178 million VND in cash and over 4 tons of necessities, such as: clean water, rice, instant noodles, clothes and many other essential items.
The working group of the commune directly transported all the above goods and funds to Tuy An Tay commune to give to families facing difficulties due to floods, contributing to helping people stabilize their lives and quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
The relief activities demonstrate the community responsibility and sharing spirit of the people of Quy Mong commune, spreading profound human values, strengthening the people's trust in the care of the Party, State and local authorities for people in disaster areas. This is also the motivation for the commune to continue promoting patriotic emulation movements and doing well in social security work in the coming time.
