Resolutely direct to speed up the implementation of projects...

On the afternoon of October 1, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to reports on the implementation of a number of traffic projects in the province.

At the meeting, delegates heard about the implementation of the projects: Southern beltway from S1 bridge to Chu Van An extended road, provincial road 454 (road 223), the section from Thai Binh city to Sa Cao bridge, and the main roads connecting to functional areas in Thai Binh Economic Zone. Currently, the projects are mainly facing difficulties in site clearance; the project implementation progress is still slow, not only affecting the efficiency of investment capital but also increasing the total investment, hindering the overall socio-economic development.

After listening to the discussion opinions and concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: These are particularly important projects, serving the socio-economic development tasks of the localities in particular and the province in general, contributing to changing the face of residential areas, improving the lives of people where the projects pass through. Therefore, localities need to raise awareness, take drastic action, be responsible in leading, directing, mobilizing human resources and means to speed up the construction progress of projects according to plan; assign responsibility, criticize, and remind cases of irresponsibility and delay in performing tasks.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested localities to continue to propagate and mobilize to create consensus among the people; review all obstacles and difficulties in each specific project to focus on resolving them; assign officers to be in charge of each project and each site clearance location; at the same time update the site clearance progress daily and weekly to direct the resolution; attach responsibility to the heads of all levels, sectors, agencies and units in site clearance work.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned specific tasks to relevant departments, branches and localities for each project.
