The Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Quang Ninh was established on the basis of the transfer of 3 former district-level Military Party Committees: Bo Trach, Dong Hoi and Quang Ninh.

Immediately after its establishment, despite many difficulties, the entire Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 has promoted its role as the political nucleus to comprehensively lead all aspects of the unit's work. Typically, it has led and directed agencies and units to quickly stabilize the organization, maintain and strictly implement the combat readiness regime and successfully organize the Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

The congress took place in the context that the entire political system had just completed the merger of commune-level and provincial-level administrative units, and dissolved district-level administrative units, with many urgent tasks that had to be resolved; the organization, staffing, accommodation, and activities of the Defense Command of Region 2 had also just been arranged; many party members had to travel nearly 100km to carry out their tasks...

But thanks to solidarity and unity, the entire Party has promoted the spirit of democracy, solidarity, and intelligence, objectively and comprehensively assessed the results of activities, and more importantly, proposed many policies and solutions for leadership in the new term; advised and coordinated with grassroots Party committees and authorities to lead, direct, thoroughly grasp, and strictly implement resolutions and directives on building an all-people national defense.

The work of coordinating direction and organizing the implementation of military and defense tasks at the grassroots level has become increasingly in-depth and effective. Combat readiness, training, and exercises have been deployed to ensure quality and suitability for practical task implementation.

Party and political activities have been carried out more and more effectively, contributing to improving the political capacity and ideological stance of cadres and party members. We have proactively forecasted the situation correctly, coordinated and promptly handled incidents, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety...

With the spirit of leadership and direction, resolutely and effectively, in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 has led the unit to successfully implement the identified directions, goals, targets, tasks and "breakthroughs". Internally united and unified, the unit has achieved many high achievements in the Emulation Movement to Win of the provincial armed forces.

On the basis of promoting the achieved results, proactively overcoming the difficulties of the first days of establishment, in the new term, the Party Committee - Defense Command of Region 2 determined to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Party's guidelines and viewpoints and the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; Resolution of the 8th Central Committee, Session XIII, on "Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation"; advise and coordinate to build strong armed forces in the area, perform well military and defense tasks; build a national defense associated with people's security and a solid defense area, and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

From that general direction, the Party Committee - Defense Command of Region 2 has proposed key solutions to lead the unit to effectively implement the congress resolution; in which, the most important is to continue to advise and closely coordinate with the Party Committee and the commune-level government to well perform the key tasks of military and defense work such as military recruitment, defense education, military rear policy work and act as the core in natural disaster prevention, search and rescue activities; coordinate to maintain political security and social order and safety.

Leaders maintain and strictly comply with combat readiness, command duty, duty, combat duty, guard duty, proactively and effectively handle situations and lead and direct the implementation to ensure the plan, time and quality of training for regular army forces, militia and self-defense forces, and reserve forces in the assigned area.

In the spirit of "Where there are soldiers, there are Party and political activities", the Party Committee - Defense Command of Region 2 determined to continue to lead, direct, and bring Party and political activities into order, with depth, and achieving practical results.

The focus is to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels; improve the quality and effectiveness of political education, propaganda, dissemination and legal education; organize emulation and reward activities enthusiastically and effectively to arouse in cadres, employees and soldiers of the armed forces a spirit and motivation to strive actively.

These days, together with agencies and units in the entire Provincial Military Party Committee, cadres and party members of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Quang Ninh are enthusiastically competing to achieve the highest results to welcome the 1st Provincial Military Party Congress, term 2025-2030 with many meaningful projects and tasks. This is an important political opportunity for the Party Committee to promote its leadership role; for each cadre and party member to show their determination, make efforts to perform well the assigned tasks, and be determined to build a strong and comprehensive unit, "Exemplary model", build a strong and clean Party Committee, contributing to the successful implementation of military and defense tasks in the assigned area.
