Currently, Lai Chau province has 6,932 people participating in voluntary social insurance, 408,837 people participating in health insurance. Thus, there are still many people who have not participated in social insurance, health insurance, have not received health care and benefits when sick or old. In this campaign, the Social Insurance and the Provincial Post Office will conduct propaganda in consulting groups, mobilizing people to directly participate in social insurance, health insurance. The communication content focuses on the meaning, role, and humanity of the voluntary social insurance policy, self-paid health insurance, rights and benefits when participating in social insurance, health insurance.

Communication messages include: Social insurance, health insurance are pillars of social security, accompanying the people; participating in social insurance to contribute today to save for the future; voluntary social insurance for workers' savings... The target for the launch is that each participating official, cadre and employee ensures the development of 1 person participating in voluntary social insurance, 2 people participating in health insurance. Strive to reach 226 people participating in voluntary social insurance, 452 people participating in household health insurance in the launch ceremony.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Vu Thi Hoai Guong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance requested that cadres, civil servants and employees step up communication, from July 1, 2025, the Social Insurance Law 2024 takes effect, people only have to pay a minimum of 15 years of social insurance, in addition, when participating in voluntary social insurance, they will also receive maternity benefits. Regarding health insurance, from June 1, 2025, the Provincial Social Insurance will no longer print paper health insurance cards, so people need to proactively install the VssID - Digital Social Insurance application for themselves and their families, proactively synchronize data on the chip-embedded CCCD card to both be convenient and fully enjoy the benefits when participating in social insurance and health insurance.

The launching ceremony was held to create unity and consensus in the communication of social insurance and health insurance policies to Party committees, authorities at all levels, sectors, socio- political organizations and all people to participate in social insurance and health insurance, contributing to increasing the coverage rate of health insurance and social insurance in the area.
