According to the residents of An Khanh commune, these spontaneous landfills have existed for a long time without being collected or cleaned. All kinds of waste left for a long time not only spoils the urban beauty but also emits a strong stench, causing environmental pollution.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Duc Cu, living at Thang Long Victory building, Thang Long Boulevard, said indignantly: "On dry sunny days, the smell of garbage is very strong. Every day we have to go through the landfill, wearing two layers of masks but still smell the stench, very unpleasant."

The existence of "black spots" of garbage piled up right next to the Nam An Khanh urban area creates a "dark patch" in the image of a modern urban area. This not only affects the aesthetics but also reduces the real living value in the area, creating a feeling of insecurity, especially in an urban area that is expected to be a green, clean, and beautiful living space.

Many opinions say that the capacity of garbage collection units is still limited, or due to lack of supervision, leading to garbage and waste being illegally dumped. It is recommended that An Khanh commune authorities quickly direct the cleaning of spontaneous garbage sites, collect illegally dumped construction waste and strictly handle violations.

If not thoroughly resolved, it will be a burden, affecting the community and eroding trust in the modern urban model.
