Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, Director of Hue City Department of Tourism, said that the event contributed to creating a cooperative relationship between Hue City People's Committee and Donghai Airlines International Airlines and related units, while promoting the economic development of the city in general and Hue tourism industry in particular.
According to the plan, Donghai Airlines will continue to operate flights to/from Phu Bai International Airport in November and December 2025. This is a positive sign for the effort to expand and develop international flights to Phu Bai International Airport in Hue city after putting Terminal T2 into operation.
According to the report, in the 11 months of 2025, the number of visitors to Hue is estimated at 5,844,719, an increase of 65.3% over the same period last year, of which international visitors increased by 40.9%. The number of overnight visitors is estimated at 2,224,822, an increase of 19.1% over the same period last year; of which international overnight visitors are estimated to increase by 9.4%.
Revenue from tourism is estimated at nearly 11,747.9 billion VND, up 62.7% over the same period last year. Chinese visitors alone had 18,199 arrivals, ranking 12th in the tourist market to Hue.
Hue Tourism Industry is focusing on organizing a series of events at the end of 2025 such as: "100 Flavors - Michelin Starred Chefs" event (November 21, at La Vela Hotel); "Miss Universe - Miss Cosmo 2025" contest (December 2 at Ngo Mon, Imperial City); Hue International Tea Festival 2025 (December 10-12 at Truong Sanh Palace, Imperial City); a series of international culinary and tourism exchange activities (expected December 18-21 at Thuong Bac Park); National Conference on Net Zero Tourism and organizing domestic and international travel business delegations to survey destinations in Hue (December 15-17 at Pilgrimage Village Resort); Hue Mega Concert event (December 21)...
In particular, on December 20, Hue will hold the Closing Ceremony of the National Tourism Year (at Ngo Mon Square, Imperial City). This will be an opportunity to summarize the journey of promoting Vietnamese tourism, while honoring the outstanding contributions of Hue as the center of the National Tourism Year, continuing to spread the image of "Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunities".
