The flock of ducks arrived at the 5-star resort on the afternoon of November 25.

On November 30, a 5-star resort in Nha Trang ( Khanh Hoa province) held a contest to name a flock of ducks after the ferocious flood that drifted onto the resort grounds.

According to the announcement, the contest will run for 7 days, from November 28 to December 6. Participants only need to leave a unique name in each comment under the post, with no limit on the number of submissions. Names that are not in accordance with public morals will be disqualified.

Vietnamese or English names are accepted, up to 4 words and must be placed in quotation marks to avoid confusion.

The organizers will choose 17 best, most interesting and meaningful names to award 17 pairs of tickets to visit the zoo, each name corresponding to a pair of tickets. The three names with the highest interaction among the 17 winning names will receive 3 more pairs of tickets.

The resort representative said this was the first time the unit had implemented interactive activities, hoping the online community would help complete the "Naming KPI".

A flock of "tycoon" ducks wandered around the resort on November 25.

Since November 25, a flock of 17 ducks has appeared on the resort grounds and quickly attracted attention when people took pictures of them and posted them on social media with the caption "Ducks on vacation at a 5-star resort".

The next day, a resort representative said many visitors, especially international visitors, were delighted to see the ducks roaming around the grounds. In the following days, they split into small groups, moving throughout the resort from the entertainment area, the lake near the spa, to the villas and golf course.

When the images went viral on social media, some suggested that these might be ducks swept away by the flood on November 18. However, the resort said it could not confirm this information.

On November 29, the flock of ducks was brought to the unit's zoo area for convenient care. Here, they were bathed, cleaned and their health monitored like a complete "spa" session.

Veterinarians monitor each individual according to professional procedures. Currently, the ducks are eating well, in stable health and have not recorded any abnormal signs.

According to the plan, they will be isolated and monitored for 15 days according to veterinary quarantine procedures. If no health problems arise, the ducks will be brought to the tourist area to integrate with other animals in the resort's zoo.
