According to Gaming Bolt , the action-adventure game Skull Island: Rise of Kong by developer GameMill Entertainment will officially release on October 17 on platforms such as Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam).

Skull Island: Rise of Kong was born based on the famous giant monster King Kong by director Merian C. Cooper, the game focuses on Kong's growing up process, with the purpose of finding revenge on the dinosaur Gaw for the death of this monster's parents.
As the game progresses, players will explore a variety of locations, from jungles and caves to swamps and mountains, battling a variety of threats. Kong can unleash powerful combos and signature roars to strike fear into many enemies.
Throughout the adventure, players will unlock new abilities for Kong to increase his strength. The game's story can last about 5 - 6 hours for gamers to complete.

Skull Island: Rise of Kong retails for $39.99, but there’s also a premium Colossal Edition for $49.99 that includes video clips that recreate the classic look of the 1933 and 1970s films, a Kong Style Pack to change Kong’s color scheme with eight different fur colors, behind-the-scenes artwork, a soundtrack, and a Boss Rush mode.
