In particular , raising awareness of green tourism development; further enhancing the position and image of Binh Thuan province to promote tourism recovery and development. Among them, many outstanding response activities such as: The Final Ranking of the "TV Singing Contest - Binh Thuan Sea Star", the 4th time in 2023, the Countdown Program to Welcome the New Year 2024 took place on a large scale, creating a vibrant atmosphere, attracting about 30,000 people, reporters from news agencies, newspapers and tourists to attend, highly appreciated by public opinion ; In general, the Closing Ceremony ensured the criteria of economy, efficiency, quality, grandeur, appropriateness to the local situation, clearly showing respect and thoughtfulness, creating a good impression on a large number of people and tourists .
Mr. Bui The Nhan said: “After the summary conference, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assessed Binh Thuan as one of the most successful provinces after 20 times of organizing the National Tourism Year, with more than 85% of the project's categories being organized (with changes but fully as proposed). In terms of efficiency, the number of visitors increased strongly and spectacularly. Sales increased to exceed 23 trillion VND. Two records were set, the motorcycle parade and kite festival records. Creating a good social effect, positive public opinion strongly influenced the masses”.
However, there are still limitations that need to be learned from: The closing ceremony program has not met high requirements in terms of content and technology (sound, light); the art program of the Closing Ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2023, "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence", although it took place smoothly and magnificently, receiving a lot of consensus and high support from all walks of life and delegates attending, but the program content has not fully absorbed the comments of the provincial leaders, especially the sound and light throughout the program have not met the requirements in terms of content and quality. In addition, some performances in the program have not met the expectations of the majority of the audience.
At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh acknowledged: Despite the province's many difficulties, the series of events and activities responding to the Closing Ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2023 , "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" has successfully concluded the National Tourism Year 2023, with unforgettable impressions. The activities within the framework of the program have spread positive messages about the unique images of nature, culture, and people of Vietnam and Binh Thuan to domestic and foreign tourists, contributing significantly to the recovery and strong development of the tourism industry. At the same time, the Vice Chairman also acknowledged the positive contributions of departments, branches, as well as localities that have actively responded to the successful National Tourism Year. With a frank and responsible spirit, the sub-committees also contributed many opinions and information to the provincial leaders and the Organizing Committee in a timely and accurate manner, but were not proactive in some situations, and needed to learn from experience.
In the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that there should be unified coordination and discussion when organizing programs in a systematic manner. Be more proactive in handling funds, especially prioritizing budget allocation for important events of the province, and be more flexible in handling arising situations.
