Samsung Solve for Tomorrow will reach more than 50,000 students in the South

DNVN - On May 30, Samsung Vietnam and the Vietnam Youth Success Organization (JA Vietnam) continued their roadshow journey to launch the Solve for Tomorrow 2025 competition in Ho Chi Minh City - representing the Southern region. Thereby completing the Solve for Tomorrow 2025 Roadshow program series in all three regions.

Following the success of the Roadshow program launching the competition in the North in late March 2025 and the Central region in mid-May 2025, the program launched in the South is continued by Samsung to spread the competition to more students in the South, thereby contributing to the popularization of STEM, further promoting activities to nurture technology talents - one of the important foundations in the development of the country in the future.

In 2024, the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest received active participation from teams in the Southern region with nearly 800 entries from nearly 4,000 students and teachers. Among these, many teams were highly evaluated and won high prizes: 13 teams entered the Top 40 best teams in the country, including 1 team from Hau Giang won first prize in the secondary school category, 1 team from Ben Tre won third prize in the high school category and 1 team from Ho Chi Minh City won the promising prize and the voting prize in the high school category.


Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 is expected to attract about 160,000 students to register for the online course and 2,400 entries sent from middle and high schools across the country.

By 2025, the contest is expected to reach about 50,000 students in the Southern region and hopes to receive even more entries from students in this region.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Kim Yong Sup - Deputy General Director of Samsung Vietnam said: "The Solve For Tomorrow contest is one of Samsung's core social responsibility programs and today I feel the contest is even more meaningful when it is held in Ho Chi Minh City - considered the economic capital of Vietnam. I hope the contest will receive a lot of participation from students, and through this contest they will awaken their potential and find opportunities for self-development, and at the same time will have many creative ideas to contribute to building a better Vietnamese society".

Within the framework of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 competition, Samsung has also launched the activity “Solve for Tomorrow on Tour – Spreading knowledge, inspiring creativity”. Starting from April 26, 2025, after more than 1 month of implementation, this activity has taken place in 14 schools in 10 provinces and cities, contributing to bringing new STEM knowledge to about 12,000 students. Through a series of interactive activities such as career orientation seminars, technology experiences and Robot creation across the three regions of North - Central - South, “Solve for Tomorrow on Tour” has helped students better understand the role of STEM in life and future careers.

Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 is expected to attract about 160,000 students to register for the online course, along with 2,400 entries from middle and high schools across the country. The total prize value of this year's competition is nearly 6 billion VND with many attractive prize categories. In addition, schools with first-place teams will be sponsored by Samsung to build a STEM Lab worth 60,000 USD.
