At Noi Bai International Airport, the airport is expected to serve 602 flights, including 325 domestic flights and 277 international flights; welcoming 108,379 passengers, including 64,254 domestic passengers and 44,125 international passengers.

Compared to the regular flight schedule, passenger traffic increased by 22.6%, with domestic passengers increasing sharply by 29.4%. Compared to the peak holiday season in 2024, the number of passengers this year increased by 25.5%.

Peak hours on 4-5 will be 9-10am, 11-12am, 3-4pm, 6-7pm. During peak hours, the density of operations and passenger traffic both increase, so Noi Bai International Airport recommends that you proactively arrange appropriate travel time for a smooth journey.

To shorten check-in time, passengers on domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet can use the VneID biometric utility that has been deployed at security screening lanes in areas C and E and at the boarding gates - Passenger Terminal T1.

At Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the total number of flights is expected to be 729 (including 365 departures and 364 arrivals). The expected number of passengers is 110,729. The newly put into operation T3 terminal alone will receive 51 flights with 11,537 passengers.

According to Mr. Uong Viet Dung, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, promoting digital transformation in the check-in process is a long-term solution to reduce the load on major airports, especially during peak holiday periods.

In particular, the operation of Terminal T3 along with the deployment of facial recognition technology through the VNeID application applied synchronously at Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai International Airports has helped these airports reduce overload despite being crowded.
