On the afternoon of April 14, the program "School Stage 2025" organized by Lac Long Quan Stage Club of Tran Huu Trang Theater and Tran Quang Khai High School, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City, jointly organized an extracurricular activity introducing songs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), serving 2,500 students of grades 10, 11 and 12.
The Board of Directors of Tran Quang Khai High School presented flowers and congratulated singer Viet Thu in the program "School Stage 2025"
Singer Viet Thu, who has just released the music product "Dialogue of the Fatherland" on digital platforms, came to interact with the student audience. He was cheered with the songs: "Hello, Lam Hong girl", "Saving shirt song" and "The girl who opened the road"….
"I was very excited to sing for the first time in the school yard of this meaningful program, where there were more than 2,500 students. They cheered and sang along to my songs, their emotions overflowing. This was the most lovely moment, when the proud melodies of the Fatherland came to the students" - singer Viet Thu shared.

Participating in the performance, singer Quang Dai and Di Oanh sang a duet of the song "Vam Co Dong" (poem by Hoai Vu, music by Truong Quang Luc). "I have many more beautiful memories with this song, because previously in the 3rd Music Exchange program organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, I sang this song and there was the presence of musician Truong Quang Luc, I was very happy to receive his compliments. Today, singing this song at Tran Quang Khai High School, I saw the students singing along, which means that revolutionary songs always have a place in their hearts. Hopefully meaningful music programs like this will be held regularly to review the journey of fighting and protecting the independence of our army and people" - singer Di Oanh shared.

The 2025 School Stage program to celebrate the country's reunification will be performed at the following schools: Huynh Tan Phat High School, Nguyen Cong Tru High School, Nguyen Huu Tho High School, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, An Lac Secondary School...
Singer Viet Thu was warmly cheered by teachers and audience at Tran Quang Khai High School.
Singer and actor La Tran Duc Thien shared: "Seeing young students singing songs that have been around for years such as: "Country Song", "Country", "Saigon Girl Carrying Ammunition", "Song by the Hammock", "Train Over the Mountain"... makes us understand that red music still has a firm place in the hearts of today's young audience.
Adults always think that the young generation like us only likes to listen to pop music, foreign music and is rarely passionate about heroic, traditional revolutionary songs. But in reality, when participating in the School Stage, we not only like to listen, but every time we get to sing or learn a new song, the whole group sings out loud in unison."

At schools where the School Stage program is organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, not only do singers come to sing, students show their love by singing along and enjoying, but many young people also enjoy staging music and dance performances with red music.
"Young people love every melody and lyric of the red songs and every time they are staged for those songs, they are very excited. So when we perform at schools, to breathe life into a traditional music piece, the first thing we do is to teach them to understand and feel the meaning of the lyrics of that song.
Through each performance, we organize exchanges, tell the children stories, the historical context of the songs... After each program, students of all levels have better understood the sadness, joy, hardship, and sacrifice of our ancestors for national independence..." - choreographer and singer Minh Tram said emotionally.
