According to the representative of Vietnam Education Publishing House, the publishing house has developed a plan to print textbooks very early to organize printing and warehousing work in time to serve the needs of book distribution. The publishing house has completed 100% of printing and warehousing work and is actively and urgently organizing the supply of textbooks to localities. Up to this point, Vietnam Education Publishing House has supplied 157.8 million copies of textbooks (reaching 98% of the plan), ensuring to meet market demand, fully and promptly supplying textbooks to students and teachers nationwide before the new school year begins.

Vietnam Education Publishing and Equipment Investment Joint Stock Company - the publisher of Canh Dieu textbooks also said that by July 31, the unit had printed and stocked 95% of the 2025 plan. This included a reserve of enough books to supplement areas affected by natural disasters and floods.

It is known that, according to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Training , although there will be changes in the merger of administrative boundaries in the 2025-2026 school year, textbooks for this school year will not change. On August 1, the Ministry of Education and Training also issued Official Dispatch No. 4480/BGDĐT-GDPT to the Departments of Education and Training nationwide on organizing comments on the draft revised and supplemented curriculum of a number of subjects in the General Education Program issued under Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDĐT. This is an important review step after 5 years of implementing the 2018 General Education Program, in order to promptly update practical changes, especially after the whole country reorganized provincial-level administrative units.

Subjects directly affected by this change include: History and Geography for grades 4, 5, and 9; Geography for grade 12; History and Economic and Legal Education for grade 10.
