Vietnamese technology innovation shines at Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025

Concluding the nearly 8-month journey, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 honored two champion teams from Hanoi and Dong Nai - a testament to Samsung's efforts in nurturing young Vietnamese technology talents.

October 31, Samsung Vietnam organized the Final Round and Award Ceremony of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 competition, aiming to find outstanding innovative technology projects that contribute to solving social and local problems.

The competition took place with the competition of 16 best teams from many provinces and cities across the country, including 8 teams of Group A (Middle School) and 8 teams of Group B (High School) with projects in many different fields from environment, education , to health, combining sports and technology.

At the event, the teams presented their projects, operated product models and answered questions from the judges. The final results were evaluated by the judges not only based on product and project implementation factors but also on soft skills such as presentation skills, critical thinking skills, teamwork skills and time management skills.

After a period of exciting competition, with outstanding ideas, highly applicable product models and convincing presentations, 2 First Prizes (each prize is a STEM LAB functional classroom worth 60,000 USD for the school with the winning team, 30 million VND in cash for the team and 1 Samsung product worth 30 million VND for the team members including contestants and instructors) went to the STE - Sport Tech Evoring team, Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School ( Hanoi city) with the project “Personal sports training support system” (Table A) and Menson team, Quang Trung High School for the Gifted ( Dong Nai ) with the project “MSVitaSync - Handheld health measurement and assessment device applying AI and IOT, towards comprehensive health care solutions at home” (Table B).

In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 2 Second Prizes, 4 Third Prizes, 8 Promising Prizes. The total prize value is up to 5.3 billion VND.

According to Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, recently, the importance of STEM education is increasingly being focused on. Advanced AI technology is being realized on the foundation of STEM.

“I hope that you, the leaders of the 4.0 industrial revolution and the future, will be more proficient in STEM and make more efforts in learning science and technology. Samsung will do its best to nurture Vietnamese technology talents through various social contribution activities such as the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow program,” said Mr. Na Ki Hong.

After nearly 8 months of implementation, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 has recorded impressive results with about 7,000 students and more than 2,500 teachers participating, along with 2,625 creative ideas submitted, marking an important step in the journey of turning ideas into practical technology solutions for the young generation of Vietnam./.
