
* At Tra Doc commune , on the afternoon of October 31, the Department of Finance visited and gave gifts to share difficulties with people in isolated areas of the commune.
The Department of Finance donated nearly 150 million VND from contributions from officials, civil servants and public employees in the sector to support 500 gifts for people in Tra Doc commune (each gift includes instant noodles, fish sauce, cooking oil, MSG, salt and dried fish...). These are essential necessities to help people overcome difficulties when the villages are isolated due to prolonged floods.
The working group of the Department of Finance coordinated with Tra Doc commune to divide into two groups, working all night to distribute gifts to people in the highland villages.

In the Xơ Rơ ridge area (village 8) - a completely isolated area, the locality had to rely on a drone team from Ngọc Hồi (formerly Kon Tum province) to help transport relief goods across the rugged terrain. Despite the heavy rain and landslides, all 500 gifts were delivered to the people that night.

On the same afternoon, the working delegation of the City Military Command, City Police and the Command of Defense Zone 3 - Tra My coordinated to present 311 gifts to the people of Village 9 (Tra Doc Commune).

A representative of Tra Doc commune said that this is a source of encouragement for the local government and the people of Tra Doc highlands to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and production. (VAN TRUC - AN BINH)
* At Lanh Ngoc commune , on the afternoon of October 31, a delegation of the Da Nang City Youth Union and a volunteer group visited and gave gifts to households affected by storms and floods in villages 14 and 15 (Lanh Ngoc commune).

The delegation presented 500 gifts (each gift included medicine, candy, fresh milk, and household items) and 20 million VND in cash, sharing and encouraging families to overcome difficulties.
On the same day, Director of the Social Policy Bank Branch of Da Nang City Doan Ngoc Chung presented 48 gifts to poor households and disadvantaged households that suffered heavy losses in Lanh Ngoc Commune. Each gift is worth 600 thousand VND, including blankets, mosquito nets and essential foods.

During this time, volunteer groups also came to help people in village 14 and village 15 (Lanh Ngoc commune) repair motorbikes and electronic devices damaged by floods. The "Remembering Tien Phuoc" club mobilized over 100 million VND, supporting 166 new sets of books, school bags, and pens for primary school students and 113 new sets of books for secondary school students in the commune.

Mr. Vo Dinh Khoi, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lanh Ngoc Commune, said that up to now, the Commune Front has received from units, organizations and individuals to support people affected by floods with an amount of 130 million VND. The Commune Front will compile a list of affected households to support them as soon as possible. (NGUYEN HUNG)
* On the afternoon of October 31, at Tra Nhan village (Phuoc Tra commune) , Phu Ninh Driving Test Center coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Tra commune to present 50 gifts including rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, fish sauce... with a total value of 15 million VND, to support ethnic minority households affected by floods.

The funding source is contributed by the staff of Phu Ninh Driving Test Center. (THANH HOA)
* On the same day, leaders of the Department of Construction inspected and directed the work of repairing damage on National Highways 40B and 24C, and also visited, encouraged and gave gifts to the forces directly responsible for repairing damaged roads, trying to reopen traffic as quickly as possible.
