Vietnam - Laos Fair 2025 is about to take place, attracting 150 booths from the two countries

From November 20 to 23, 2025, at the Lao Itecc Convention Center, Vientiane capital, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and the Lao Ministry of National Defense will jointly organize the Fair to connect trade and promote products of Vietnamese and Lao enterprises in 2025.

This is a meaningful activity to strengthen economic cooperation, promote bilateral trade and deepen the great friendship and special solidarity between the two Parties, States and armies.

The fair has nearly 150 booths, gathering a large number of military enterprises and prestigious enterprises of the two countries. The products on display are diverse and rich, including: defense industrial products, mechanics, electronics, construction materials, consumer goods, agricultural products, OCOP products... to meet the needs of the Lao market and the ASEAN region.

Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee will implement a trade connection program, focusing on the Vietnam - Laos Investment Promotion Conference and direct and online trade activities between businesses of the two countries. After the fair, the authorities will continue to support businesses in need, ensuring long-term effective connections.

Along with trade promotion activities, many meaningful political and social programs will be organized such as donating computers and equipment to the Lao Ministry of Defense ; giving gifts to policy families and Lao people, contributing to strengthening the solidarity and friendship between the two countries.

The highlight of the fair is the Vietnam - Laos cultural and artistic space, hosted by the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Southern People's Army. Here, images, documents, and artifacts vividly depicting the special solidarity tradition between Vietnam and Laos are displayed. During the event, video clips introducing labor production activities and the construction of Vietnam's defense industry will be widely shown, contributing to promoting the image and improving the effectiveness of communication about the fair.
