Seminar to attract investment in Mekong Delta coming soon

The event aims to create a forum for policy exchange, update investment trends and share practical experiences in the Mekong Delta region.

On September 23, 2025, in Can Tho City, VSIP Can Tho Joint Stock Company in coordination with the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, Ho Chi Minh City Branch, will organize the Workshop "Mekong Delta - New Origin of Breakthrough Growth".

The event gathered more than 120 delegates from the government, consulates, business associations, domestic and foreign investors, aiming to create a forum for information exchange, policy updates, investment trends and sharing practical experiences in the Mekong Delta region as well as strengthening connections between domestic and foreign investors and local authorities.

According to the Organizing Committee, the main contents of discussion and exchange at the Workshop include: Why VSIP chose Can Tho and the development vision of VSIP Can Tho in becoming the leading investment destination in the Mekong Delta; FDI shifting trends and prospects in the Mekong Delta; update on investment policies in Vietnam: Opportunities from the Mekong Delta; success stories from businesses in VSIP Can Tho...

In the context of Vietnam promoting foreign investment attraction, localities in the Mekong Delta region in general and Can Tho City in particular are paying attention to strongly improving the investment and business environment in an open direction to become an attractive destination for investors.
