Immediately upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Province mobilized dozens of officers to approach the scene, coordinating with local authorities to rescue through the night.

The particularly serious incident caused the entire surface of the Mimosa Da Lat pass to break and slide towards the negative slope with a width of about 50m2, a depth of about 30m, and a length of over 100m. The entire road surface was completely divided into 2 parts, making it impossible for all vehicles to pass. This location continued to deteriorate as it rained heavily for many days, with water flowing directly to the landslide site.

At the time of the landslide, a sleeper bus stopped right at the edge of the cliff. The front wheel of the bus fell into the danger zone. Immediately after that, the authorities helped the bus move out of the danger zone.
At the foot of the landslide site, there are many households and some coffee plantation guardhouses that are in danger if the terrain continues to collapse. That night, the authorities used ropes to approach each house below. One by one, 12 people were assisted to evacuate this area.

In the early morning of November 20, the landslide continued to worsen and was strictly blocked off by authorities.
Previously, heavy rains also caused serious landslides at Prenn Da Lat Pass and D'ran Pass, forcing the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to declare an emergency situation on these two passes. Khanh Vinh Pass to Da Lat from Khanh Hoa Province is also experiencing landslides and must be blocked.

Thus, with the recent incident on Mimosa Pass, the only roads leading down and up to Da Lat are Sacom Tuyen Lam Pass and Ta Nung Pass. The road surface of these two passes is relatively small, making it difficult for vehicles to move and causing congestion.
