The road from An Cuong residential area to the fishing wharf is considered an important “connection” between the residential area and An Cuong village beach. Big waves and high tides caused by storm No. 13 have caused hundreds of meters of road to collapse, with some sections sinking 30 to 50cm deep, making travel difficult and directly affecting people’s livelihoods.
Mr. Huynh Van Long, Secretary of the Party Cell of An Cuong village, Van Tuong commune, Quang Ngai province, said that the Van Tuong commune government is conducting a survey and assessing the level of landslides to propose a temporary solution to ensure immediate safety for the people.
The seriously eroded road not only makes travel difficult but also directly affects the livelihoods of coastal residents. People want to see repairs and investment soon, ensuring long-term safety.
