On the morning of November 7, the Quang Ngai Border Guard Command mobilized forces and vehicles to coordinate with the Ly Son special zone authorities to search for three missing people yesterday afternoon.

The Quang Ngai Border Guard Command has mobilized a rescue ship with 10 officers and soldiers to search for 3 missing people in the waters of Ly Son special zone. The rescue ship moved from Sa Ky port to Ly Son waters in coordination with 02 vehicles mobilized by the Ly Son special zone government to search for the missing people. Initially, the search site will be deployed in the southwest waters of Ly Son island.

Before that, at about 3pm yesterday, a 44-year-old man from Tay An Vinh village, due to a family dispute, went to Ly Son wharf area and jumped into the sea. Seeing that, two other men from the same locality used a basket boat to rescue him. However, due to strong waves and wind, all three people were swept away and went missing.

This morning, the Ministry of Defense sent helicopters to Ly Son special zone to participate in the search for victims.
