Supermodel Adriana Lima returns to the Victoria's Secret catwalk

In a video shared on Victoria's Secret's Instagram page, supermodel Adriana Lima (43) announced her return to the fashion show in an interesting way. In the clip, Lima gets into a taxi and tells the driver: "I'm going home."

The driver then said he didn't know where she lived, to which Lima replied: "Can you take me to the Victoria's Secret show?", before turning to the camera and declaring: "I'm back!".

"Hey, we kept it a secret, but we can't keep it that way anymore!", reads the video 's caption.

Celebrities were quick to comment on the epic comeback. "Love it," supermodel Gigi Hadid wrote. "So good!" Jasmine Tookes chimed in. "Yes," Camila Coelho added.

Adriana Lima has worked with Victoria's Secret since 2000 and left the brand in November 2018. She told People at the time about the significance of her final fashion show: "I think this year will be the pinnacle of my career. This is my 18th fashion show and I'm as excited as the first day. I've always loved walking the runway and doing the Victoria's Secret show. It's my favorite thing to do," Lima said.

Adriana Lima's Decade-Long Collaboration with Victoria's Secret

The brand's annual fashion show (which debuted in 1995) was canceled in 2019 after backlash over its lack of body diversity, and returned in 2021 with the launch of the VS Collective label, which aims to move the brand toward what women want.

Lima attended a Victoria's Secret event to promote the brand's film The Tour in September 2023, marking a new era. The film focuses on "emerging global pioneers from many artistic fields, creative in their own way." She shared with People about the positive changes made at the time: "I feel like as a woman and still pursuing fashion, I'm 42 years old and a mother of five, so I realize that I'm still being celebrated in this stage of my life.
