On the afternoon of May 14, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology organized a Vietnamese speaking contest with the participation of 6 teams from universities in the 21st competition group.

With the theme "Vietnamese - A bridge between heritage and integration", this year's contest is an opportunity for students to improve their understanding of the role of Vietnamese in preserving national identity, promoting cultural heritage and promoting international integration. Thereby, enhancing patriotism, preserving traditional cultural beauty, calling for the role and responsibility of students in promoting the value of Vietnamese through its unique, effective and modern usage.
At the competition, the teams brought many different topics such as: Vietnamese - A bridge to national cultural heritage; Vietnamese language culture of Gen Z; Vietnamese in the digital age: Opportunities and challenges; Vietnamese in diplomacy and promoting the national image; Language exchange - is Vietnamese being "diluted"?; Vietnamese in creative arts; Students and the responsibility of preserving Vietnamese.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, said that the contest is not only an academic playground but also a place to honor the beauty of the Vietnamese language - one of the precious cultural heritages of our nation.
With profound, diverse and topical topics, the teams not only presented their personal views, but also demonstrated the critical thinking ability, presentation skills and creativity of the young generation of Vietnam.
