VKU students compete in creative website design

This is an annual academic playground, an opportunity for students to approach reality, apply learned knowledge to design creative and useful websites.

BWD 2025 includes 2 tournaments: BWD tournament (for freshmen) and SUPER BWD tournament (for sophomores and above and winners of previous seasons), attracting nearly 1,000 students to participate with 264 teams competing in the BWD tournament and 7 teams competing in the SUPER BWD tournament.

After 2 preliminary rounds, the 9 best teams of the BWD tournament and the 4 best teams of the SUPER BWD tournament compete in the final.

The teams apply their skills and knowledge to create website products with unique website interfaces, with their own characteristics and features; high applicability; ensuring aesthetics, harmonious colors, using technical technology on popular browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.

According to Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Principal of the school, the competition is large-scale, systematic, and innovative over the years, demonstrating the professionalism and high competitiveness of the teams. Students not only demonstrate their knowledge and skills in website design but also demonstrate their ability to present their products in English.

VKU always focuses on innovating training programs and advanced teaching and learning methods; students are equipped with in-depth knowledge associated with creative projects and practical scientific research, contributing to providing high-quality engineering human resources for the market.

In the end, the organizing committee awarded the excellent prize to the VKU Talent team (BWD 2025 table). In addition, 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 2 Third prizes, and 4 Encouragement prizes were awarded.
