VKU students compete in a creative website design competition.

DNO - On September 13th, the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), University of Da Nang, held the final round of the 7th Web Design Competition (BWD 2025).

This is an annual academic competition, providing students with the opportunity to gain practical experience and apply their learned knowledge to design creative and user-friendly websites.

BWD 2025 consists of two tournaments: the BWD tournament (for freshmen) and the SUPER BWD tournament (for second-year students and above who have won in previous seasons), attracting nearly 1,000 students participating with 264 teams in the BWD tournament and 7 teams in the SUPER BWD tournament.

After two qualifying rounds, the 9 best teams from the BWD tournament and the 4 best teams from the SUPER BWD tournament competed in the finals.

The competing teams applied their skills and knowledge to create website products with unique interfaces, distinctive features and functions; high applicability; ensuring aesthetic appeal, harmonious colors, and using technology compatible with popular browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.

According to Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tho, Vice Rector of the school, the competition is large-scale, well-organized, and innovative over the years, demonstrating the professionalism and high competitiveness of the participating teams. Students not only showcase their knowledge and skills in website design but also their ability to present their products in English.

VKU always focuses on innovating its training programs and advanced teaching and learning methods; students are equipped with in-depth knowledge linked to creative projects and practical scientific research, contributing to providing high-quality engineering human resources for the market.

In the end, the organizing committee awarded the Outstanding Performance prize to the VKU Talent team (BWD 2025 category). In addition, they awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes, and 4 Consolation Prizes.
