Despite playing at Tiburon Golf Club with an unstable left wrist, the Thai star still performed at his best with rounds of 67-63-64-68, achieving a total score of -26, leaving his compatriot Pajaree Anannarukarn in 2nd place by 4 strokes. World No. 2 Nelly Korda finished 3rd with a total score of (-20).
This is Jeeno's third win of the 2025 season and the seventh LPGA title of her career. The $4 million prize makes her the fastest golfer to reach the $17 million milestone in LPGA history.
Thitikul also became the second Thai golfer to win the Tour Championship after Ariya Jutanugarn (2017) and the third to win the title two or more times after Lydia Ko (2014, 2022) and Ko Jin-young (2020, 2021).

The season-ending tournament win also secured Jeeno Thitikul two of the most prestigious titles in women’s golf this year: the Rolex Player of the Year and the Vare Trophy for the lowest average score of the season. With a 68.681 average, she broke the 23-year-old record of 68.697 set by Swedish legend Annika Sorenstam.
Before the tournament, the Player of the Year race was reduced to a two-horse race between Thitikul and rookie sensation Miyu Yamashita, who needed to win the Tour Championship to turn things around. However, Yamashita only finished T36.
“I got goosebumps when I held the trophy in my hands,” Thitikul shared emotionally. “The Vare Trophy and Player of the Year are proof of consistency, which any athlete aspires for. To be recorded in history is a great honor.”
Closing the season, Jeeno Thitikul not only firmly held the world No. 1 position but also became the new iconic face of the LPGA - a very complete season for the 22-year-old golfer.
