Regarding the recent allegations from parents that a teacher at Gia Thuy Kindergarten (Bo De Ward) abused their child, a representative from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training stated that they have been informed of the incident and have requested the Bo De Ward People's Committee and the school to report on the matter and handle it promptly.

According to the report, the People's Committee of Bo De Ward has requested Gia Thuy Kindergarten and related individuals to cooperate with relevant units to verify and clarify the information reflected in the parents' complaints.

The People's Committee of Bo De Ward has instructed the Ward Police to urgently send officers to investigate and verify the incident, collect documents and data, and coordinate with medical facilities to request expert assessment (if necessary) to accurately determine the nature of the incident.

The People's Committee of this ward also requested the ward's health station to assign staff to coordinate with relevant units and families to check and monitor the children's health status and provide support to ensure their safety.

According to information shared by parents on social media, their child, born in 2021, is currently in class C2 at Gia Thuy Kindergarten. On the afternoon of July 5th, while bathing the child, the family discovered a bruised area on the child's back, suspected to be from being hit. Upon noticing the unusual sign, the family immediately reported it to the school and took the child to the hospital for a general health check-up.

Upon receiving the information, the Board of Directors of Gia Thuy Kindergarten requested the teacher involved to write a report and a self-criticism statement, and temporarily suspended her from teaching while the incident was being investigated.
