On January 25 (December 26, the year of the Dragon), the traffic police force of Hai Duong province detected and handled 137 cases of traffic safety violations, fined 585 million VND, revoked 9 driving licenses, temporarily detained 46 vehicles, and deducted 19 driving license points from 19 cases.

Of these, 35 cases violated alcohol concentration, 44 cases violated speed, 6 cases did not obey traffic lights, 14 cases did not wear helmets, 22 cases did not have a driver's license...

Compared to January 24, there were 52 fewer cases of traffic safety violations but 5 more cases of alcohol concentration violations.

Thus, compared to the first day of the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday, the number of traffic safety violations increased by 45 people, 9 more cases of alcohol concentration violations; 5 more cases of speeding violations...

According to the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee Office, as of 7 p.m. the same day, the authorities had not yet received any traffic accidents on the first day of the Tet holiday. Compared to the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday last year, there were 2 fewer accidents, 1 fewer deaths, and 1 fewer injuries.
