Tay Ninh Department of Justice organized a training conference to improve professional skills in mediation at the grassroots level in Can Duoc commune.

Implementing Plan No. 920/KH-UBND dated August 27, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the Project "Improving the capacity of grassroots mediators for the period 2024 - 2030" in the last months of the year in the province, on October 8, 2025, at the Hall of the People's Committee of Can Duoc commune, the Department of Justice coordinated with the People's Committee of the commune to organize a conference on "training and fostering professional skills in grassroots mediation" to build, consolidate and improve the capacity of grassroots mediators, creating motivation to promote innovation, creativity and increasing effectiveness in grassroots mediation work, meeting the requirements of society in the new period.

The conference was held with the participation of delegates who are representatives of the leaders: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and socio -political organizations under the Front; Representatives of the leaders of the People's Committee of the commune; civil servants of the People's Council and People's Committee Office in charge of mediation work at the grassroots level of the commune; Mediation trainers at the grassroots level of the communes: Can Duoc, My Yen, Phuoc Ly, Rach Kien, My Loc, Can Giuoc, Phuoc Vinh Tay, My Le, Tan Lan, Long Huu, Long Cang. Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Ly Hong Huan - Deputy Director of the Department of Justice highly appreciated the role of grassroots mediation in social life, this is also one of the criteria for considering and recognizing communes that meet the standards of legal access, communes that meet the standards of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas, and smart urban areas. He said that in recent years, in the province, grassroots mediation work has been focused on and implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Grassroots Mediation, and the rate of successful mediation is increasingly high. However, in addition, grassroots mediation work still faces some shortcomings and limitations; some complex conflicts and disputes are not successfully resolved.  

In order for the Conference to achieve its goals and requirements, Mr. Ly Hong Huan - Deputy Director of the Department of Justice requested that delegates attending the Conference focus on thoroughly understanding the contents presented by the reporters at the Conference;   boldly discuss unclear issues, limitations and difficulties in mediation work at the grassroots level of the locality to clarify the issues with the reporter in order to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles ; request the reporter to guide and fully deploy to the delegates the professional contents of mediation work at the grassroots level; in which, focus on discussing, answering and resolving difficulties and obstacles in mediation work at the grassroots level ; on the side   The People's Committee continues to pay attention to regularly organizing training and fostering mediation skills at the grassroots level for mediators in appropriate forms ...

Through the training conference, it is aimed at fostering and improving the capacity and expertise of mediation work at the grassroots level and implementing the Project "Improving the capacity of the grassroots mediator team in the period 2024 - 2030", thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management of mediation at the grassroots level for the team of commune-level officials and civil servants, at the same time, fostering legal knowledge and mediation skills at the grassroots level for mediators, further improving the rate of successful mediation at the grassroots level./.
