Exciting final round of the 2025 English Olympic Contest for students

The contest has 4 groups: Group A for students from grades 1-5 (primary school); Group B for students from grades 6-9 (middle school); Group C for high school students and Group D for college and intermediate students. This is the contest for groups A and B. The contest for groups C and D is expected to take place from May to September 2025.

The competition for groups A and B took place enthusiastically with the competition of 20 candidates from 9 districts, towns and cities in the province, selected from more than 12,900 candidates in the preliminary and semi-final rounds.

In the final round of the contest, contestants will go through 2 parts: “My Talent” part, presenting on a topic of their own choosing; “Personal opinion” part, presenting on a random topic prepared by the Organizing Committee and answering questions given by the Jury.

According to the judges, the quality of this year's contestants is higher than previous years. The contestants presented their performances quite professionally. Not only did they speak English fluently, they also polished their pronunciation and intonation like native speakers, making the contest more exciting with fierce competition between talented contestants.

The entries were carefully prepared, creative with rich content, cleverly incorporating topics about local cultural and social life. Thereby contributing to promoting the cultural beauty, scenic spots, modern and civilized lifestyle of the locality and the country to the audience and students. Among them are good topics such as introducing the cultural beauty of Cam Giang leaf market, historical sites, local specialties, a kind lifestyle - volunteering, sports ...

After many hours of exciting competition, the judges and the organizing committee selected two champions in groups A and B. The first prize in group A (primary school) went to contestant Phan Nguyen Phuc Han, class 4A, Da Hang Primary School (Go Dau district); the first prize in group B went to contestant Nguyen Ngoc An Hoa, class 9A5, Thi Tran Secondary School (Chau Thanh district). In addition, the organizing committee also awarded the most favorite contestant and the contestant who made the best English video clip.

The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in group A to Phan Nguyen Phuc Han, class 4A, Da Hang Primary School (Go Dau district); the first prize in group B to Nguyen Ngoc An Hoa, class 9A5, Thi Tran Secondary School (Chau Thanh district).

The organizers awarded second prizes to contestants in groups A and B.

The 2025 English Olympic Competition for students is an activity implemented in the program "Supporting the improvement of foreign language proficiency and international integration for children and adolescents" of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , period 2022-2030. Up to now, the Competition has been held 5 times, attracting the participation of a large number of students in the province.
