Son La: Border defense training for Lao People's Army officers

Recently, in September 2023, the Son La Provincial Border Guard Command organized a border training course for 20 comrades who are officers of the Louangphabang Provincial Military Command, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

After 1 month, the training course completed the program as planned. The teaching team fully prepared lesson plans, documents, and training grounds; organized the training course with full content, time, and program as planned.

The class organizers regularly followed the class, strictly maintained the regulations, and ensured safety throughout the training period for 20 students from the Louangphabang Provincial Military Command, Lao People's Democratic Republic .

During the training, the trainees always raised their self-awareness, sense of responsibility, strictly followed the regulations set forth by the training course organizers, listened attentively and took full notes. During breaks and holidays, the trainees actively studied documents and lectures to improve their professional skills. In addition, the officers of the Louangphabang Provincial Military Command also visited the work of building a regular unit at the Chieng Son Border Guard Station, Son La Provincial Border Guard.

The test results show that 100% of the students of the Louangphabang Provincial Military Command are eligible to be granted certificates according to regulations.

Lieutenant Khamkeoonta, Deputy Captain of Company 161, on behalf of 20 comrades attending the training course, expressed his sincere thanks to the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Son La province for helping and creating conditions for the trainees to complete the training content and program; at the same time, he promised to apply the knowledge he had learned creatively into practice; coordinate with the Border Guard of Son La province to build a stable, peaceful , especially friendly, cooperative and developing national border.

Colonel Ban Van Chanh, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard of Son La province, warmly praised the achievements of the 20 trainees; hoping that in the coming time, the border protection forces of the two provinces of Louangphabang and the Border Guard of Son La province will unite closely, bond, exchange experiences, help each other in border management and protection, and effectively resolve issues occurring on the border, contributing to firmly protecting territorial sovereignty, border security, and building a peaceful border, with special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
