At the ceremony, Son Tay town met and commended national football team player Doan Ngoc Tan; talented young chess player Nguyen Xuan Phuong, a student of class 4A2, Trung Son Tram Primary School (Son Tay town). Especially young chess player Nguyen Xuan Phuong has had a special passion for chess since childhood. With support and facilitation from his family, school, coach, leaders of Son Tay town and International Grandmaster - Vietnam National Chess Team Chess Coach Bui Vinh..., Xuan Phuong has trained and continuously achieved excellent results in Northern, national, international chess tournaments...

In August 2024, Xuan Phuong competed in the U10 male age group - Southeast Asian Championship held in Laos and won 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal; in December 2024, he won the KPNest Gold-plated Cup International Chess Championship in Vietnam; in January 2025, he won the Gold Medal, FM1 Group Champion of the Grandmaster - International Master Chess Championship in Vietnam. Most recently, in April 2025, Xuan Phuong won the Bronze Medal for U10 Male - World Youth Rapid - Blitz Chess Championship held in Greece. Nguyen Xuan Phuong also has many consecutive years of achieving the title of excellent student; won the 2023 National FMO Math Gold Medal; 2023 International GJMAT Math Gold Medal; 2024 International IMC Math Gold Medal...

Regarding the emulation movement "Teaching well - Learning well" in the 2024-2025 school year, Son Tay town has many teachers and staff winning first and second prizes in the city-level competition for excellent teachers and excellent caregivers; many high school students won prizes in the national competition for excellent students in cultural subjects; many students won first and second prizes in the Hanoi city competition for excellent 9th grade students. The town's students actively participate in cultural activities, scientific and technical research and win many gold, silver, all-round, promising prizes... at the national level, bringing glory to individuals, families and the town.

Speaking at the ceremony, Son Tay Town Party Secretary Tran Anh Tuan requested the town's Education and Training sector to promote the achieved results, continue to innovate more strongly and comprehensively in teaching methods and management work to continuously improve the quality of education and training; build and improve the quality of teachers and educational managers, strive to have many exemplary teachers and managers, good expertise, beautiful style, enthusiasm and responsibility for the profession, so that the town's education and training career is truly a career of "growing people".

The sector needs to further strengthen the campaigns and emulation movements of "Teaching well - Learning well" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in order to maximize the potential, intelligence, and enthusiasm of the teaching staff, educational managers and students' capacity. Promote activities to encourage learning and talent, build a learning society, so that each school is a "red address", a place to nurture dreams, creativity, encourage talent development, and be the best environment for students to study, practice moral and physical qualities and become useful citizens for society.
