Highlight event promoting the image of Vietnam and Quang Ninh to international friends

Within the framework of the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship, the Ministry of Public Security and its units will coordinate with Quang Ninh province to organize a series of exciting and meaningful events and activities. In particular, the welcoming art program with the theme "Aspiration to Shine" is expected to be a highlight activity, contributing to introducing and promoting the image of the country, people of Vietnam and Quang Ninh province to international friends and tourists.

The art program to welcome the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship in Quang Ninh was jointly organized by the People's Police Music and Dance Theater, the K20 Ceremonial Group, and the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Ninh province at 30/10 Square (Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City) at 7:00 p.m. on September 7, 2024.

The program will open with a street parade performance of 20 songs praising the homeland of Vietnam, and a march about the People's Public Security by the Vietnam People's Public Security Band.

The stage and technical items serving the art program are being urgently installed at the 30/10 Square area (Hong Hai ward, Ha Long city).

Following the program was a performance by the Mobile Police Cavalry Group of the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security with main parts such as: Controlling horses in a parade formation; controlling horses to run in a horizontal line; controlling horses to run with both hands free; demonstrating techniques of jumping on and off horses in emergency situations; demonstrating techniques of controlling horses to run with both hands free, combined with the use of weapons and support tools...

The program ended with an art performance with unique and attractive music and dance performances, elaborately staged, divided into two chapters with the themes "Radiant Vietnam" and "Vietnam People's Public Security Integration and Development".

Units urgently construct and install technical items to serve the opening ceremony and Taekwondo competitions at the Sports Palace - Quang Ninh Provincial Sports Complex (Dai Yen Ward, Ha Long City).

The art program is not only a highlight activity to welcome the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship held in Quang Ninh, but also aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day. Up to now, the relevant forces and units are actively practicing and preparing to successfully organize the program.
