On April 30, Sun World Ba Na Hills officially operated cable car route number 8, taking visitors from Hoi An Station to the Kingdom of the Moon.
This is a new key project of the tourist area to enhance the experience for visitors when coming to the "fairyland", and at the same time is a meaningful gift to celebrate the great national holiday.
Increase many unique and attractive cultural experiences for tourists to Ba Na
Departing from Hoi An Terminal 2, cable car route No. 8 has a total of 153 cabins, with a capacity of 3,000 passengers/hour. Not only does it help shorten travel time and increase capacity to serve tourists during peak season, cable car route No. 8 also brings countless unique and new cultural and entertainment experiences to tourists.
From the first steps at Hoi An Terminal 2, visitors will feel a cultural space imbued with Vietnamese identity. Inspired by the art of Lion Dance - a sacred symbol, symbolizing joy, luck and the bustling festive atmosphere of the Vietnamese people, Hoi An Terminal 2 is designed like a lively "cultural stage".
In Vietnamese culture, the unicorn is not only a mascot that brings good luck but also the embodiment of strong vitality, joy and signals a good new beginning.
Bringing that spirit into its architecture, Hoi An 2 station is not simply a transit point, but a place to inspire emotions and energize visitors before starting their journey to explore Ba Na.
In particular, the station space also impresses with its harmonious combination of traditional features and modern breath. Warm wood materials are used for pillars, large door frames and partitions, reminiscent of the architecture of Vietnamese communal houses - the center of cultural activities and ancient festivals. Folk motifs, especially images from wood carvings, are subtly transformed on glass panels and floor tiles.
The highlight is the patterned tiles and red floor tiles with the main orange-red color tone, bringing a joyful, bustling feeling like a festival atmosphere. All blend together, creating a space that is both luxurious, modern, and imbued with the Vietnamese soul, where each visitor feels like they are entering a colorful Lion Dance festival.

The beginning of a new and colorful journey of experience
From Hoi An 2 station, cable car line 8 will take visitors gliding over vast primeval forests, across misty valleys to reach the mysterious Moon Kingdom.
The cable car journey not only shortens travel time but also offers spectacular views, capturing the majestic beauty of Ba Na mountains and forests in sight.
The destination of cable line 8 is the Moon Kingdom station, a unique and impressive architectural work. Inspired by the image of the simple and familiar Vietnamese conical hat, the station appears with five large pyramids rising in the air, in harmony with the architecture of the adjacent Moon Castle.
Stepping inside, visitors will be amazed by the unique design space created from thousands of rustic terracotta bricks, simulating the familiar image of the "brick kiln" of the Vietnamese people in ancient times.

In the near future, Moon Kingdom Station will be developed into a multi-functional complex including a station, wine cellar and high-class restaurant. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a wine discovery journey like a living museum, learn about the production process and enjoy fine wines right underground.
This project promises to become an unmissable highlight, enriching the experience at the Moon Kingdom in particular and Sun World Ba Na Hills in general.
Open up a new and more complete journey of experience for tourists
Cable car line No. 8 not only adds new travel options but also creates a more seamless, attractive and complete experience for visitors. Connecting directly to the Moon Kingdom, the cable line helps visitors easily explore the Moon Castle, Eclipse Square, Mountain Train, and conveniently access other attractive destinations such as French Village, Golden Bridge, Le Jardin D'Amour Flower Garden, Linh Ung Pagoda or experience the magical Ba Na By Night.

At the same time, Sun World Ba Na Hills has increased its culinary service capacity with 4 buffet restaurants (Bon Mua, Taiga, Bharata - Arapang, Beer Plaza), ready to welcome 10,000 diners and serve 20,000 meals at the same time, ensuring a rich and quality culinary experience for all visitors.
