Suzuki Fronx "affordable" scheduled to arrive in Vietnam at the end of this year
The 2025 Suzuki Fronx small SUV for the Vietnamese market will arrive in Vietnam at the end of this year, the car will be imported completely from Indonesia.

On May 28, 2025, Suzuki officially introduced the new Fronx model in the Indonesian market. Shortly after that, Suzuki Vietnam also confirmed its plan to bring this model to our country. Accordingly, Suzuki Fronx will officially be sold in the Vietnamese market at the end of this year. This model will be imported completely from Indonesia. Therefore, it will not be surprising if the Suzuki Fronx in Vietnam has the same design and equipment as the car for Indonesia. Indonesia is the first Southeast Asian market to receive Suzuki's A-class SUV. At the same time, this is also the second country to assemble this model, after India.
The Suzuki Fronx has a fairly small size with a length of 3,995 mm, a width of 1,765 mm, a height of 1,550 mm and a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. In addition, the car also has a turning radius of only 4.8 m, considered the smallest in the segment, helping Suzuki's rookie easily maneuver in crowded urban traffic conditions. Unlike the A-class SUV models currently sold in Vietnam such as Kia Sonet or Toyota Raize, Suzuki Fronx has a more stylish and smooth Coupe SUV design. The car is equipped with a multi-layer front lighting system with LED daytime running lights and turn signals located above and main headlights below. Next is the black plastic cladding around the wheel arches and roof rack to give this model a real SUV look. In the Indonesian market, the car uses 16-inch alloy wheels in the high-end version and 195/60R16 tires with low rolling resistance, helping to save fuel. The rear of the Suzuki Fronx features a compact LED taillight cluster with a design that connects both sides. The vertical light strip at the two corners of the rear bumper and the fake diffuser panel are also highlights of this A-class SUV. Inside the Suzuki Fronx is a 2-row interior with 5 seats.
The amenities of Suzuki Fronx in the Indonesian market are quite complete with a 4-way adjustable steering wheel, analog dashboard with multi-information screen, HUD windshield display, 9-inch central touch screen, Bluetooth connection, sound system with 6 speakers. USB Type A/Type C charging port, automatic air conditioning with digital display, rear seat air vents, wireless phone charger and push-button start. Unfortunately, this model does not have an electronic handbrake like the Suzuki Fronx for the Japanese market. Regardless of the version, the car has 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system ABS, electronic brake force distribution EBD and vehicle stability control system (VSC). Meanwhile, the high-end version has an additional 360-degree camera and the Suzuki Safety Support active safety feature package. This package includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning/prevention, and high beam assist. Under the hood of the Suzuki Fronx are two engine options.
The first is a 1.5L, 4-cylinder gasoline engine coded K15C, combined with mild hybrid technology Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) for the high-end version. The gasoline engine produces a maximum capacity of 101 horsepower and a maximum torque of 135 Nm. The engine goes with an electric motor that adds 3.1 horsepower and 60 Nm with a 6 Ah lithium-ion battery. In addition, there is a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the low version uses a 4-cylinder, 1.5L gasoline engine with code K15B, for a maximum capacity of 105 horsepower and a maximum torque of 138 Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The selling price of Suzuki Fronx in Vietnam is still unknown. However, if following the tradition of the Suzuki brand, Fronx is expected to have a quite competitive selling price in the segment. In the Indonesian market, this A-class SUV is priced from 259 - 319.9 million Rupiah (about 409 - 505 million VND).
