Traffic accident scene on Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway

On the morning of August 12, a representative of the Traffic Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) said that on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway, a traffic accident involving 3 cars had just occurred, causing 1 person to die on the spot.

Accordingly, at 6:45 a.m. the same day, at Km 128 + 600, Ngoi Gua bridge section (Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province), a series of traffic accidents occurred between 3 cars: a truck with license plate 24C - 060.XX driven by Mr. LTH (born in 1968, residing in Lao Cai); a truck with license plate 88C - 247.XX driven by Mr. LTA (born in 1993, residing in Vinh Phuc); a pickup truck with license plate 29C -878.XX driven by Mr. D.VQ (born in 1981, residing in Thai Binh), with Ms. VTL (born in 1985, residing in Nam Dinh ) also in the car.

The accident caused Mr. LTA, the driver of the truck with license plate 88C - 247.XX, to die on the spot, 1 person in the pickup truck was injured and taken to the emergency room, 3 vehicles were damaged. Of which, the truck with license plate 88C - 247.XX had its bed broken off, blocking the road.

Upon receiving the news, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department) sent officers and soldiers to the scene to direct traffic and protect the scene.

Currently, the Traffic Police force of the Department is coordinating with the Investigation Agency of Tran Yen District Police to investigate the cause of the accident.
