20-year-old talent crowned 2023 national tennis champion

With seniors Ly Hoang Nam and Trinh Linh Giang not participating, Vu Ha Minh Duc was chosen as the second seed in the men's singles event of the 2023 National Tennis Championship. Vu Ha Minh Duc is the next generation of athletes after Ly Hoang Nam. Hai Dang Tay Ninh Club gave him the opportunity to compete in tournaments within the International Tennis Federation (ITF) system to hone his skills before entering the professional tennis career. In the recent Davis Cup, when Ly Hoang Nam was not present, Vu Ha Minh Duc also contributed to helping the Vietnamese tennis team win a ticket to the world group II play-off.

In the women's singles, Vietnamese-American tennis player Demi Tran (Army) defeated Sophia Huynh Tran Ngoc Nhi (HCMC) in the final with a score of 2-0 (6/1, 6/4), winning the championship. Demi Tran also won the women's doubles championship when standing with Si Boi Ngoc. Pham Minh Tuan/Nguyen Minh Phat (HCMC) won the men's doubles championship and Nguyen Van Phuong/Si Boi Ngoc (Army) won the mixed doubles championship.
