Technology driver assaulted for hitting a girl rollerblading in the middle of the road

On September 30, a clip appeared on social media recording a scene of a male driver (delivery man) being kicked and punched repeatedly in the head and back by a man, causing outrage among many people.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Ms. Nhung Em (living in Dong Xoai City, Binh Phuoc Province) said that the shipper who was assaulted in the clip is her nephew. Currently, the male driver (born in 2003) is still in shock and cannot communicate directly with others.

"My nephew suffered from skin abrasions, pain in his stomach and legs, and was mentally frightened. Until today, he has not been able to go to work and had to stay home for a day to stabilize his mind. Last night, he told me about the incident but I did not expect him to be beaten to such an extent. When the clip recording the beating was posted on social media, my family saw it and was very upset," said Ms. Nhung Em.

Accordingly, the incident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. on September 29, in Tan Binh ward, Dong Xoai city, Binh Phuoc province.

The clip on social media shows that at the time of the incident, a group of children were rollerblading in the middle of the road, where many vehicles were passing by. Suddenly, a girl in the group unexpectedly skated to the other side of the road. At this time, a male driver was carrying passengers passing by and accidentally hit the girl.

The impact was so strong that the tech-car driver, the passenger, and the girl fell onto the road. A relative of the girl ran to help her up and called for help. The male driver and the passenger were in pain after the fall and still could not get up.

After the shout, a man suddenly ran up, kicked the driver in the back, and punched him in the head. When the young man explained, the man not only continued to curse but also continued to slap him in the face.

The male driver could only try to explain and ask about his fellow passengers.

According to Ms. Nhung Em, a person claiming to be the man who assaulted the male driver in the clip proactively apologized and arranged to meet to make peace. However, her family did not agree and planned to report the incident to the authorities.
