According to the hydrometeorological agency, coastal areas from Quang Ninh to Nghe An have strong winds of level 6-7, areas near the storm center have level 8, gusting to level 10; inland areas of the provinces and cities of Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa have gusts of level 6-8. Level 8 winds can break tree branches, blow off roofs, causing damage to houses.

Also this afternoon, the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) informed that up to this point, the provinces have evacuated 12,485 people, of which 11,756 people were evacuated due to storms (Quang Ninh 2,052 people, Hai Phong 4,994 people, Ninh Binh 4,710 people); 729 people were evacuated due to floods and landslides (Thanh Hoa 468 people, Nghe An 261 people).
