On May 6, the Ministry of Finance issued a decision to temporarily suspend the position of representative of state capital at the Vietnam National Petroleum Group for Mr. Dao Nam Hai, representative of state capital, member of the Board of Directors, General Director of Petrolimex until there is a conclusion from the competent authority.
At the same time, temporarily hand over the state capital portion currently held by Mr. Dao Nam Hai according to Decision No. 45/QD - UBQLV dated January 28, 2022 of the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises to Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Representative in charge of the group of representatives, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Petroleum Group.
The decision takes effect from the date of signing, May 6.
It is known that the General Director of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), Mr. Dao Nam Hai (born in 1974), before taking the position of CEO of Petrolimex from March 2022, Mr. Hai had nearly 5 years in the role of Deputy General Director (October 2017 - March 2022), and was also a member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Petrolimex Insurance Corporation (PJICO) for 8 years (April 2014 - March 2022).
