According to the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, there were about 10 large and small landslides along the road up the mountain. In particular, in the area near Dong Dinh Museum and Linh Ung Pagoda, rocks and trees flooded down almost covering the road surface. In some locations, large rocks, weighing over 1 ton, rolled from the positive slope onto the road.

Immediately after the incident, Da Nang Bridge and Road Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and tourist beaches and functional units to mobilize vehicles and human resources to handle the scene. Large blocks of rock are waiting for specialized vehicles to come and remove them to ensure traffic safety.
At noon the same day, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang City's tourist beaches announced the temporary suspension of all tourist activities at Son Tra Peninsula until the problem is resolved and the weather stabilizes again.

The temporarily suspended routes include: Yet Kieu – Dinh Ban Co – Bai Bac route (from the first guard station to Bai Bac intersection, in front of the Intercontinental Resort); Bai Bac – Cay Da di hanh route (from the Intercontinental Resort to the Cay Da di hanh area); Tien Sa route (from the guard station of Company 4 – Regiment 224 to the branching intersection to Dinh Ban Co); Hoang Sa section from the Hoang Sa – Le Van Luong intersection to in front of the Intercontinental Resort.
Currently, functional units are urgently repairing the landslide site. The Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and tourist beaches recommends that residents and tourists limit travel through this area until the weather stabilizes.
