This year's Youth Month, Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union held a launching ceremony in Tan Chau district. Here, many meaningful tasks were carried out by the youth union members, contributing to taking care of the people in the district such as: giving 100 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances; giving 17 support packages for Youth Union officials from the Kieu Phan scholarship fund; giving 50 gifts to the People's Patrol Force and people in difficult circumstances; giving a game cluster to Tan Chau children; giving 2 charity houses to former youth volunteers and ethnic people in difficult circumstances; giving 500 trees in response to the Tree Planting Festival...
March Border Month is one of the activities to concretize the movement "I love my Fatherland" deployed by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union from March 1 to 31 every year in border communes across the country, focusing on difficult border communes. |
The total value of the launching ceremony is 1 billion VND. In addition, Tay Ninh Lottery Company Limited also contributed 200 million VND to the Lighting up Dreams Scholarship Fund.
The youth of Tan Chau district has left its mark with many projects and youth activities that bring practical benefits to the community, the green shirts of the youth have left many beautiful impressions in the hearts of the people. 100% of the Youth Union organizations have registered and undertaken youth projects and activities such as: organizing legal propaganda; implementing the national flag route, building charity houses for poor team members...
As a result, the district implemented 3 national flag road projects with a length of 4km in the two communes of Tan Hoa, Tan Dong and Tan Chau town, worth over 60 million VND; inaugurated 3 outdoor game clusters for children, sports grounds for youth with a total value of 280 million VND.
Volunteer activities for social security were effectively carried out by the Youth Union in the whole district with specific tasks such as: giving 2,300 gifts to people in difficult circumstances; 500 scholarships, 29 study corners and regular support for 25 children with a total cost of over 1.1 billion VND; mobilizing funds to build 2 charity houses, Red Scarf houses for poor team members with an amount of 180 million VND; planting 3,900 trees; collecting over 7 tons of waste; especially organizing the simultaneous launch of the "Digital Education for the People" team in Tan Hiep commune, to guide how to install and use online public services, electronic payments for over 1,500 people in the commune...

The highlight of Youth Month is to turn to the country's border areas, do many practical tasks to care for people and children in difficult circumstances, families with meritorious services, and prestigious people among ethnic minorities; deploy projects and tasks for youth to participate in protecting national security and defense and developing the economy and society in border areas.
One of the exciting emulation movements in Youth Month is March Border Month. This is an opportunity for young people to turn to the Fatherland's border, expressing gratitude and responsibility to their homeland. At the same time, it spreads the spirit of solidarity and patriotism through practical activities, contributing to caring for and giving love to officers, soldiers and people in border areas.
"In 2025, the March Border Month program was deployed simultaneously in 9 districts and towns in Tay Ninh province. This is a very meaningful program, directing activities to remote and border areas, thereby contributing to the locality's successful completion of the task of building new rural areas," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Truc Mai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of the province.
The March Border Month program has just been organized by Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union, Vietnam Youth Union of the province in coordination with Youth Union units in Ho Chi Minh City including Ho Chi Minh City Union of Commercial Cooperatives, Ho Chi Minh City State Financial Investment Company, Cho Ray Hospital, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, and Alumni Association of the Lighting up Faith Scholarship Fund in Tan Hoa commune, Tan Chau district.
Accordingly, the medical team of Cho Ray Hospital organized free medical consultation and medicine for 250 people, gave 250 gifts to people in difficult circumstances. In addition, the team also awarded 20 scholarships and 2 study corners to disadvantaged students; inaugurated a children's playground at Rong house in Con Tran hamlet, Tan Hoa commune; inaugurated the project "Lighting up the border patrol road" at Cay Cay Border Control Station, Tong Le Chan Border Guard Station... The total amount of implementation is about 250 million VND.
Lam Gia Vinh, a 4th grade student at Tan Hoa Primary School, excitedly said: "I am very happy to play in this playground. I promise to take good care of the equipment."
The project "Lighting up the border patrol road" at Cay Cay Border Control Station, Tong Le Chan Border Post, is 3.7km long with 25 sets of solar lights.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Toi, Party cell secretary and political commissar of Tong Le Chan Border Guard Station, said that the Station is managing more than 9.6km of border with 6 main markers and 35 secondary markers. The border area always has many potential risks to political security and social order and safety, so the implementation of the project not only contributes to ensuring political and defense tasks, but also creates an increasingly bright, green, clean and beautiful border landscape.
“The dense forest area around is where many complex activities take place. With this project, the night patrol work of officers and soldiers is greatly supported, especially in identifying subjects and activities occurring in the border area," Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Toi shared.
With a journey of more than 150km to reach the remote border area, the enthusiasm and volunteer spirit of the youth is the driving force that motivates the youth union members of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union. Here, solidarity replaces geographical distance, natural and sincere emotions remain forever, proving a generation of youth union members devoted to the people in the border area.
