Faced with the situation of fluctuations in construction material prices causing great impacts on construction activities in the city, the Department of Construction has just issued a document requesting material suppliers and commercial concrete manufacturers to promptly provide information on price adjustments and temporary suspension of supply.

Specifically, for products with price changes, units need to promptly send an official dispatch to the Department of Construction requesting the announcement of new prices, clearly stating the reason for the change, effective time and quality of the adjusted products.

At the same time, immediately provide the adjusted price list at the time of price adjustment and periodically every month before the 5th of the following month or at the time of price adjustment. Particularly for commercial concrete production units, please provide documents on price adjustment or no price adjustment in May 2025 compared to April 2025 to the Department of Construction before May 28.

For units that do not have price changes in the month or quarter, send a confirmation document to the Department of Construction. The Department notes that construction material suppliers must promptly, accurately, and fully provide relevant data and documents as required by competent state agencies to serve the valuation; comply with the valuation documents and price stabilization measures of competent state agencies. In particular, promptly resolve complaints about the prices of goods and services they produce and trade; compensate for damages caused by violations of the law on prices according to the provisions of law.
