At the training session with Hanoi FC on the afternoon of February 18, Coach Makoto Teguramori shared: "I have experience working in the Japanese national team, J-League, Thai League before coming to lead Hanoi FC. The capital team is one of the clubs with a rich tradition with many titles in the V-League.
I believe Hanoi can be even stronger, and I want to bring my philosophy to help the team do that. Hanoi can absolutely reach the level of becoming one of the top teams in Southeast Asia," said Mr. Makoto Teguramori.
Notably, despite only signing a short-term contract, Coach Teguramori is confident in his goal of helping Hanoi FC win the V-League: "My immediate goal is to help Hanoi FC win many victories in the remaining time of the season, so that they can lift the V-League championship trophy. I also hope to be able to contribute to more championships for the team."
On the rankings, Hanoi FC is temporarily ranked fourth with 20 points after 13 rounds, 4 points behind the current leading team, Nam Dinh Club.
According to plan, Coach Makoto Teguramori will officially debut for Hanoi FC in the away match against Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club in round 14, taking place on February 21 at Pleiku Stadium.
"Hoang Anh Gia Lai is one of the teams that is strong in counter-attacking defense. I need to prepare my own plan to counter this opponent. To win the championship, Hanoi needs to gain maximum points in each round," said the new captain of Hanoi FC.
