Tan Loi Thanh (Giong Trom) meets new rural standards

When implementing the construction of a new rural commune, Tan Loi Thanh was a commune with many difficulties and a low starting point, but with its revolutionary tradition, patriotism, solidarity, mutual love, the dynamic and drastic participation of the entire political system and the consensus and positive response of all classes of people in the area, Tan Loi Thanh commune has made many efforts to rise up and achieved many achievements.

From 2012 to 2024, Tan Loi Thanh commune mobilized more than 192 billion VND for the new rural construction program, of which the people contributed over 112 billion VND, accounting for 58.3%. The commune has built an organic coconut material area with an area of ​​347.66 hectares. Political security and social order and safety in the area are maintained. The political system is constantly consolidated and strengthened in all aspects.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the district leaders, Chairman of the District People's Committee Le Van Tuong commended, acknowledged and congratulated the achievements in socio-economic development and new rural construction that the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Loi Thanh commune have achieved during the past period of construction and development.

Tan Loi Thanh commune was recognized as meeting the new rural standards at a time when the central and provincial governments focused on implementing the project to rearrange and reorganize administrative units at all levels and build a 2-level local government model. Accordingly, the district level will end its operations in June 2025 and reorganize the commune-level administrative units.

In particular, Tan Hao commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Tan Hao commune, Tan Loi Thanh commune and Thanh Phu Dong commune and will be put into operation in July 2025. Therefore, in the coming time, the Chairman of the District People's Committee requested that leaders, cadres and party members in localities, regardless of their positions, continue to do a good job of propaganda, mobilization and raising awareness in the community about the content, methods, practices and policies of the State on building new rural areas .

Have a reasonable plan in economic development to increase people's income; promote the reorganization of the agricultural sector to adapt to climate change associated with the development of trade, services, and rural industries towards increasing added value and sustainable development; focus on promoting the creative power of the people, creating high consensus of the whole society, continuing to promote propaganda and mobilization on the task of building new rural areas , ensuring the sustainability of new rural criteria, associated with socio-economic development; focus on developing economic sectors, improving people's lives and income; pay attention to the cultural and social sectors; maintain political security, social order and safety, etc.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of the province, Giong Trom district, and Tan Loi Thanh commune awarded many certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building Tan Loi Thanh commune to meet the new rural standards in 2024.
